During my recent stay at a charming hotel near Fleet, I enjoyed its mix of modern comfort and traditional decor, nestled amidst beautiful English gardens. The tree-lined driveway leads to this picturesque property, which boasts a grand 300-year-old sequoia tree-a lovely sight for both nature enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. My room was clean, though I had to switch due to noise, which was accommodated by the staff. The ensuite shower had good pressure, making for a refreshing end to busy days. Breakfast offered a solid variety, from full English to continental options, leaving me satisfied. Bar 86 provided a delightful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding with a glass of Prosecco after a long day. I found the rates just slightly above what I'd expect given my experience of better-priced alternatives that offered greater quality. While some services fell short-particularly during a managed event-the friendly staff certainly added a welcoming touch. This hotel serves as a decent option for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in the area. I appreciate the effort made by the team, though I may explore other options on my next visit.
